Morbidly obese, need weight loss help =)?
I am a 343 pound 5'11 male,And i want to change my life.Badly.I want to do this right.I figure i need to start with a low calorie diet.But, after many google searches, cannot figure outa formula to follow.I've heard 1700 calories 2000 calories, and some higher and lower,as well as the 6 meal a day rule and others. Could anyone give me advice?Is working out two times a day going to put too much stress on my bones to start out with?or should i just do this gung ho? There are many people around me, including family members, who have lost lots of weight,but i would like to do this without their help personal reasons . The thing i'm most worried about is motivation. I have it very strong right now, but i know how quickly that can change, and i don't want to have a bad day and follow it up with a trip to mcdonalds for a 10 piece, double cheeseburger, and large drink. I'm sure i'll get some smart ass " lose weight" comments, but thats okay, because i'm willing to endure that in the hopes that i might actually get some help. If anyone wanted to share weight loss stories or advice, I would be really happy to hear them Thanks.

I'm 16 and I really need weight loss help please answer?
here's my story. Two years ago, I was 14, 123 pounds, and 5 feet tall. I had a bulging stomach so I decided to lose weight, except I had no idea how to go about this. I never paid any attention to calories or exercise. So I did some googling and tested out the low carb approach. The thing is, I went a little overboard. Desperate for quick results, I consumed about 10 carbs a day and anywhere from 150 250 calories max. In addition, I burned around 600 from the treadmill. I lost weight quickly, In about three months the entire three months were not made up of 250 calories. slowly I went up to around 600 calories and decreased treadmill to 300 calories burned I lost 32 pounds and became a mere 91. I was so happy at this size. But over the course of two years, I gained back the weight, somehow. I don't know how because once I saw the number going up I restricted myself to 1000 calories a day and still burned on the treadmill. But I again became 120 pounds. Now I am 5'2" and 16 years old. I've been this weight for a few months and i've been trying to lose the weight the normal way, but It's just not working. So for the past few days, I've lowered intake to 250 300 calories a day and burn about 250 on the treadmill. I am too scared to go on the scale to check my weight, but I don't feel any different. Is it because it's only been a few days? But since this method worked last time, it should work this time, right? Should I burn more on the treadmill? What if this method doesn't work? Will I be stuck like this forever?Please don't recommend psychiatric evaluation because my parents are the kind that brush things off and pretend everything is normal. Just be kind and help out please, I really hate myself for being this heavy, I can't stand to look in the mirror, and I try to avoid taking photos all together. I feel disgusting, and I would love to be even 110 pounds again. I felt so great back then. Exercising, eating right, no weight loss?
hi, im 20 years old 5'4" and about 130 lbs. i just wanna lose 5 10 lbs but im having a really hard time. for about a month now ive been eating about 1200 cals a day in small meals throughout the day. im a vegetarian so i make sure i get my protein through eggs, nuts, peanut butter, but in right amounts. i eat lots of fruits and veggies, fat free milk only, and low sodium foods. i exercise 6 x a week. 3 x a week i do 20 minutes on a bike for warm up and 30 minutes on a tredmill. i go up one incline every minute until i reach 15, then back down one incline per minute for a total of 30 mins at about 3.3 mph. the other 3 days a week i do the same on the tredmill and then do strength training with arms and legs and abs. low weights but lots of reps. i have not lost a single pound. i know a month isnt that long, but im very frustrated. im about to give up, but then i think 5lbs isnt that much. what can i do differently? thanks.i have a large water bottle that i keep filled constantly. i drink LOTS of water, maybe too much? i would try to cut the nuts and PB out but there are only so many ways i can get protein in my diet.

Dieting and exercising for over a week now...and NO weight loss. WHY?
I have been doing pilates every day, eating very few calories average of 800 900 per day , drinking tons of water, riding my bike, and I have lost NO weight. I lost an inch in my waist, 1 4 an inch in my hips, and like half an inch in my right thigh. WTF? I am working my $$ off and I'm not seeing any results....I'm starting to get frustrated. I have a skin condition that causes me to break out in a horrible and very itchy rash every time I sweat, so working out has been agony for me, but I'm doing it anyway because I want to lose the weight...I feel like all of my hard work and suffering has been for nothing. What am I doing wrong???? And don't tell me to eat more because I won't.I'm 5'3" and 130 pounds. I'm trying to slim down and lose inches and at least 10 pounds of weight.But why haven't I lost even ONE pound????
