No acai berry spam thank you!!!!! I was wondering which of the three systems was best to use.. Nutri- System, Weight Watchers, or Jenny Craig.. Looking to lose 50 lbs I guess.. I may be excercising too. Light excercise. lol.

Definitely Weight Watchers. No contest. Let me explain. Jenny Craig and Nutri System rely on your buying their meals and snacks. You will lose weight -- probably a lot if you stick to it. But the second you go back to "real food " you will gain it all back and more... it's been proven over and over. Weight Watchers uses real food and teaches you the skills to modify your eating habits for life. There is much less chance you will gain the weight back. Weight Watchers is a safe, sane, reasonable weight loss plan your doctor will support. And no, I don't work for Weight Watchers!. The other plan that is excellent is Michael Thurmond's 6-week body Makeover. Truly excellent. Google it. If you have trouble finding it, email me (jregis1@hotmail.com). Thurmond's plan is good because it teaches you to modify/ increase your metabolism by eating a certain combination of real food. All of that said, join a gym if you can and do some weight training, cardio, and eat reasonably -- the weight will come off in no time. It is fun, you'll meet some good, new people, and you'll be amazed at the quick results. Remember, in general eat small protein/ vegetable meals every two hours and expend more calories. The only one I have used was Weight Watchers, But I can tell you I have been Obese my whole life. I am 5'10 " tall and at my heaviest I was 290lb's.... I was about 230lb's when I started Weight Watchers and in 9 months i got all the way down to 160Lb's..... I have not followed the Weight Watchers plan in about 4 years but have been able to stay at a steady 170Lb's all these years.... (I went on Vacation and gained 10lb's back by OVER doing it)....... Weight Watchers is not so much a diet as its a Way Of Life.... It teaches you to look at food different.... I will tell you that I have talked to many people using Weight Watchers who have not had the weight loose I have..... However they admit that they use ALL there points in there 3 Meals and eat NOTHING else.... WRONG !!!! I ate EVERY 2/ 3 hours... This is Key ! This is whats going to keep your metabolism going ALL Day ! I didn't even exercise at all, however I sugjest that you do... I wish I did cause now Im in this new body and I really need to firm it up big time. So now Im on a totally new quest to firm up big time and I could have done it all at once..... ! Good Luck with whatever you chose but I don't think you even need to buy into any of them, you just need to control your Cal. intake and eat smaller meals more often...... Like if your having a sandwich for lunch, Have half at lunch then eat the other half an hour later.... And dont forget to snack on LOW cal. snacks.. 100Cal pack snacks got me through without missing out on anything I wanted !
